Our Mission
When posed with the question: "What is our call to action," one of our Founding Mothers, Jaime Slaughter, answered with our motto, sisterhood, culture, education. She envisioned a multicultural organization that ensures its members to be culturally competant and culturally literate. An organization not only diverse in its members, but one that promotes cultural awareness. The Mu Chapter is constantly working to help make her dream a reality.

Our Core Values

SISTERHOOD
Delta Xi Nu is a lifetime commitment that not only fosters everlasting friend ships, but leaves Honeys with a network of professionals who also share the bond of DXN.

CULTURE
DXN strives to create a space where you can explore your identity, experieces, and the things that make you who you are. We also attend, create, and co-sponsor events that respectfully create cultural experiences on campus and throughout Columbia.

EDUCATION
Delta Xi Nu values scholarship. Education is a number one priority for our sisters. Involvement in DXN enriches the educational experience of collegiate sisters and helps to create culturally competent women.

Philanthropy & Service
Delta Xi Nu (DXN) was founded as both a social and service sorority. Philanthropy and service are an integral part of being a sister of DXN. Our National Philanthropy is Awareness of Domestic Violence Against Women, and each entity of Delta Xi Nu also has their own philanthropy that addresses a need in their community. Here at Mizzou, our philanthropy is Children's Well-being.
Honeys do plenty of service around Columbia. The majority of our service hours are completed at an emergency shelter for children, who strive to keep children safe and serve families in crisis. We also participate in many service activities such as fairs for Columbia youth, volunteering at the Food Bank for Central and Northwest Missouri, and Cleaning Up CoMo. If you are interested in joining us for any of our open service opportunities, do not hesitate to let us know!
